Another mad session at Borth. Similar to yesterday, but a little windier, the sea was rougher and generally more full on.

I didn't have a lot of time to mess around today, so when I got to the beach I just rigged my 5m and little waveboard without even checking the wind and got on with it. I would have liked to have gone from the Lifeboat Station, but the tide was too high, so I had to do battle with the rough seas of the Golf Course Car Park. The 5m was a little too much really and my 4.5m would have been plenty, but a little more outhaul to completely flatten it off and I was able to hold on.

The waves were pretty big and in some places the sea was ridiculously rough so I just had to slow right down and pick my wave through the lumps and bumps that seemed to be coming from all directions.

it was good to be sailing in challenging conditions on a small board though and the conditions didn't once get the better of me. I wasn't really going for anything as I was maxed out the whole time and there was no-one else around. I did some big jumps of course though and had a few fairly decent wave-rides and aerial off-the-lips. Had someone else been out then it would have been a 5-star session again as the conditions were perfect and I was sailing well, a little more time would have meant that I would have changed down as well which would have made things a little more comfortable.

Still an excellent session though and certainly an adrenalin rush.
